• Categories are open to law firms and registered companies.
  • Companies and law firms must submit their entries on the new automated platform of the awards.
  • Separate entries should be submitted for each category.
  • The word count of the entry submission must be strictly adhered to: 750 – 800 words.
  • All entries must meet the criteria set out in the relevant category.
  • Supporting material: If submitting supporting material, kindly refer to it in the entry submission. Keep it relevant to the entry submission and send only one material of a maximum of 3 pages. Supporting material must be clearly labelled. It should be in PDF format only.
  • Keep entries short, simple and precise. Avoid unnecessary jargon. For the specific practice area awards, kindly focus only one deal/transaction as mentioned in the criteria.
  • The time period of the evidence provided/cases cited should be the last 12 to 15 months before July 2023 (note criteria exception in this regard for the category ‘Emerging Law Firm of the Year’).
  • Law firms and companies can only submit one entry per category.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
  • Information that is marked confidential will remain so, and will not be released without the permission of the entrant. However, kindly do not submit entries that are fully confidential as the deal/transaction/case for the winning entries can be highlighted in the post-event editorial content. Kindly submit entries accordingly.

Kindly note:
The shortlist will be revealed weeks prior to the Awards Ceremony. As we receive a high volume of entries, we are unable to provide feedback on entry submissions that don’t make the cut. Further, we will not be able to reveal the results ahead of the Ceremony. Kindly send in your submissions only if the firm/company/team/individual intends to participate in the Ceremony.
